The International conference MIRK 2002 is "guilty" for this project. In Piran, through the informal conversations of Dr. Snezana Kocijancic (Middle Medical High school Ljubana) and prof. Edin Kadic (Medical Highschool Ante Kuzmanic Zadar) came to first exchange of ideas about possibilities of professional co-operation between these two Medical High schools. That meeting had put out first concrete steps of starting the Project "Knowledge Without Borders".
     Dr. Snezana Kocijancic and prof. Edin Kadic presented their ideas in their mother schools and already next year in Ljubljana and in Zadar had been held a meeting of school headmasters, Tatjana Valant Velickovic and prof. Davor Vidakovic, with their professional teams. They have been introduced with possibilities that the Project offers, and with the work of both schools, plans and programmed, realization and conditions of work. It was also foundation for the further realization of the Project "Knowledge Without Borders".

   The consequences of these meetings are three segments of the project:

• Introducing workers in schools with plans and programs of work and education medical nurses and medical technicians, mutual exchange of experience, educational contents using ITC in school teaching the profession…
  Exchanging students between Middle Medical High school Ljubljana and Medical High school Ante Kuzmanic Zadar. Realization of the project started on March 3 with arrival of some few students on teaching in our school.
  Already on March 29, a group of hosts, Zadar's medicine students, returned the visit to Middle Medical High school Ljubljana, where they will on the same way stay with Slovenian students.
  The continuation of this part of the project is imagined through developing stay for even bigger number of students next school year, and also including third foreign school to the whole Project.

• The second segment of the Project "Knowledge Without Borders" is publican declaration co-operation and making common educational WEB pages "Knowledge Without Borders". Under the leadership of prof. Edin Kadic, pages are edited and guided by professional team's dr. Snezane Kocijancic in Middle Medical High school Ljubljana ana higher medical nurse Ljiljana Grginovic in Medical High school Ante Kuzmanic.
  WEB pages are exclusively professional character (medical) and are created by students themselves under the professional leadership. Working on this project of given medical theme, students prepared WEB pages, and then translate on English language.
  Processed theme is put on the server so it could be publicly available.

• The most difficult and technically most complexes part of this co-operation are professional lecture and video conference of Slovenian and Croatian doctors and nurses. How come on March 3 had been realized first video conference on relation Zadar-Celje, already in April had been prediction to hold a first professional lecture on theme "Donating and Transplantation of Organs", which will be also opened for the public. In that part of Project, Zadars University gave technical support, in whose rooms the first video conference was held. How come this segment asks more technical needs and help from outside the schools, technical support to the Middle Medical High school Ljubljana shall be given by ARNES (Academically Explore Network of Slovenia), while our school will realize that part through co-operation with Zadars University or CARnet.
  When the technical possibilities come trough, video conferences will be held once or twice times a month, alternately, but from the schools themselves.
